John completed his Bachelor of Science in Anatomy in 2001 while also completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2003 at the University of Saskatchewan. John started working in the private sector as a staff Physical Therapist before accepting a role within the Spine Pathway Program. He was involved in the formulation and implementation of the Spine Pathway Program throughout Saskatchewan at its inauguration in 2011. John worked as a Senior Physical Therapist within the Spine Pathway program until he accepted a managerial role within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. John has been a member of the Canadian Spine Society since 2011.
John lives in Saskatoon with his wife and two children. He is happily helping with coaching his daughter who plays with the Hollandia Soccer Association and volunteering with The Saskatoon Strings, an orchestra group that his daughter plays violin with.
