Treatment services at Kinetik put the focus on function: helping injured individuals focus on what they can do. Our pro-active approach is designed to return individuals to their highest level of capability.

Services include thorough assessment by appropriate professionals:
• physical therapists with advanced orthopedic training to evaluate injuries related to work, motor vehicle accidents, sports, back & neck and peripheral joints
• occupational therapists specializing in arm & hand function and worksite assessment
• exercise therapists to assess physical conditioning and strength
• clinical psychologists to assess psycho-social issues and teach pain self management techniques.

Treatment is offered on-site in Kinetik's 24,000 sq. ft. fitness facility. The treatment program may include:
• treatment to address specific joint or muscle dysfunction
• active physical conditioning
• functional activities that simulate daily work activities
• educational sessions on self management of pain and stress.

When appropriate, treatment may also include:
• individual, group or family counselling and discussions
• relaxation therapy
• vocational testing
• family participation in recovery.
