The Driver Evaluation Program provides a comprehensive functional-based assessment to determine a person’s ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. Assessment includes both in-house and on-road testing components. Referrals are accepted from Health care professionals, family members, third party insurers such as SGI or WCB, and individuals themselves. At completion of the assessment recommendations regarding necessary equipment, training required, compensatory measures, and/or various restrictions (e.g. driving in specific environments, familiar areas, time of day, etc.) are made and explained to the individual.
