Originally from Alberta, Dr. Sharp graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2007. She went on to complete a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2014, including a pre-doctoral residency through the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region and provincial corrections. After working for three years at Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert, Dr. Sharp returned to Saskatoon to work at the Regional Psychiatric Centre, where she continues to work part-time. She joined the Kinetic program in 2024, and has prior experience in providing psychological assessment and intervention services in a community-based rehabilitation clinic.

Dr. Sharp is registered as a full member in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists (SKCP, #966), and possesses Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) to be able to assess and communicate mental health diagnoses.

Dr. Sharp provides evidence-based psychological treatment services, primarily utilizing Cognitive-Behavioural, Dialectical Behavioural, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Processing Therapy approaches. She believes in providing collaborative, person-centered, and strengths-based treatment, as part of a client’s interdisciplinary care team. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Sharp has provided supervision to a number of pre-doctoral residents in clinical psychology, as well as provisional practice psychologists and junior Ph.D. students in the U of S clinical psychology program. She is a professional affiliate of the U of S, and has served as a committee member for dissertation research in Interdisciplinary Studies.
