Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Exercise Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. Michelle has been employed with the Fit For Active Living Program since 2001. Michelle has been a mentor for Kinesiology students for 15 years. Michelle loves to continuously learn and has special interests in concussions, knee injuries, sport taping, and incorporating leisure activities into daily living.

Michelle has been involved as a medical trainer for football at the local, provincial, national, and international level. She is a founder/General Manager/Trainer of the Saskatoon Valkyries and RUSH high school football. Michelle is a recipient of the Saskatoon and Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame with the Saskatoon Hilltops. She received the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award in the Athletics category and the Saskatchewan Roughriders Recognition award. She is a mother of two active children, including being a coach, manager, trainer and fan of their sports. She enjoys playing football, strength training, golf, volunteering/event management and is an avid sports fan.
