Sarah Baxter graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Augustana University in 2006. She then worked as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton. This sparked her interest to return to school for further education in the field of Occupational Therapy.

Sarah returned to the University of Alberta to the Occupational Therapy program and received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2011. Following graduation she worked in rural Alberta for two years prior to relocating to Saskatoon with her family.

Sarah joined the FIT for Active Living Program as an Occupational Therapist in 2017. She has completed advance ErgoScience training in Functional Capacity Evaluations. She has received additional training in ergonomics with a focus on practical applications for improving work station design as well as improving safety in the workplace. Sarah recently joined the Kinetik team in spring of 2019. She has past work experience in objective functional testing, functional conditioning, work hardening/simulation, ADL activities, and return to work programming.
